Discover Tucson Coming from the Chicago area, it took us a little while to feel at home with Tucson's laid back way and the geology of cactus and mountains. If you have an interest and take the time to learn about Tucson's history and discover all of the treasures that Tucson has to offer, it is a fascinating and fun place to live. If you are planning a trip to Tucson, please call or email us if you are interested in receiving a map, golf course guide, dining guide, visitor's guide and more information for FREE! We can also give you recommendations on places to stay, places to dine, things to see and do, etc. once we know your schedule and your preferences.
There are three websites that we believe will give you an abundance of information. The first is the Metropolitan Tucson Convention and Visitors Bureau. View the contents under VISITOR and you will be amazed to see all the things to do, places to stay, golf information, heritage and culture, and so much more. While they offer to send you free information, we will send you the same information (and more) for free! Since we respect your privacy in all instances, we will not put you on any mailing list or send you junk mail.
The other website that we like is an on-line version of the Newcomer's Guide. This publication gives information on medical facilities, schools, utilities, automobile registration, shopping, calendar of events, theater groups, climate, and a lot more. If you prefer to peruse this Newcomer's Guide off-line, please let us know and we will send you a copy.
